Even after moving out of the area, we still travel over an hour across the city to come to Park North since they’re the best dentists we’ve found. The culture of the whole staff and the bedside manner of Dr Erik D. Gilroy and Dr Edward Woodbine are exceptional. Both dentists explain every procedure clearly, take the time to answer all our questions, and are as gentle as can be. We’ve been seeing Dr Gilroy as our regular dentist for a couple of years now. He always gives the best patient care, is so supportive, and never upsells treatment we don’t need. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed here, and it was so quick. Dr Woodbine made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even made me laugh during the procedure with his jokes. Costs are always broken down before any treatment, and we get multiple reminders before each appointment. Every treatment we’ve had here has been performed skilfully and painlessly. I couldn’t recommend them enough, and they’ve done wonders for our dental anxiety. 10/10!

Greeted by the lovely front desk staff as usual who know my name and had my next appt ready before I left. Had a cleaning by Amber, a true professional who thoroughly cleaned my teeth so well I didn’t want to eat afterwards. She gave me some great advice on techniques and equipment that would be beneficial to my teeth. I am very happy with my experience at Dr. Gilroy’s office. Thank you

Have been going here for years and love this place! Easily the best dentist I’ve ever been to in NYC. All the dentists and hygienists are great. Adina cleaned my teeth today and I tend to be super sensitive - but it was the easiest clean I’ve had in a long time.

My first visit at Park North Dental was fantastic. The entire clinic area is very clean. The reception area extremely lovely, that area made me feel as though I was home. The receptionist was friendly and acted very professional upon receiving me for the first time. The two doctors were thorough in explaining exactly what was needed towards correcting the problems inside my mouth (Teeth). I’m sure I’ve found a home at Park North.

Have been going here for years! Appointments always start on time and are very quick and efficient. Clean office in a cute brownstone, steps from Grand Army Plaza. Hygienists are very gentle and communicative and my dentist is always personable and pleasant.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gilroy since early pandemic days. I don’t even live in NYC anymore but I still have him as my dentist and make a point of doing my cleanings on NYC trips! He is the most personable and professional health care provider you’ll ever meet. Truly someone who was had the job they were meant for- direct patient care! Sitting in the dentist chair feels like you’re just catching up with a friend (who happens to be examining your teeth). Even getting fillings isn’t so scary with him. I love Park North Dentistry and am proud to have watched the practice grow. Highly recommend.

All the positive posts about this office I agree with wholeheartedly so I won’t repeat. What I will say is that I have never felt any power to affect the health of my own teeth beyond brushing and flossing. Dr Gilroy took several images of my teeth, pointed out problem areas and we discussed the whys and what I could do to support their health.Now having some control, I actually look forward to my next visit and I assure you, that is a first for me.Thanks to Dr Gilroy and his incredible staff.

I absolutely love Dr. Gilroy. Not only is he a great dentist, but he's a delight to talk to. Unlike previous dentists I've seen who were often creepy and/or condescending, Dr. Gilroy is straight forward, explains the issue, and then works quickly and efficiently to fix it. He's so fast! His staff is also great, and they always give you a pre-visit quote and run down any billing issues should they arise. I recommend him every chance I get.

Being a person that lives with mental illness, I have often avoided dental work. It can be very hard to make me feel comfortable and I have never felt so comfortable getting dental work done. The staff is warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, and Dr. Woodbine was incredibly gentle, efficient, and skilled. I was treated like a person, not a problem to be fixed. I highly recommend Park North Dentistry and will certainly be using their services again.
